If There's Anything That You Want

ABOUT

About

If There's Anything That You Want is a personal marketplace. It is not a directory, and it is not a place shoppers browse looking for bargains.

How it works

Every seller gets their own marketplace at an unlisted address, and shares that address with the people they already deal with -- neighbors, a club, a congregation, an estate's family, whoever the seller has in mind. A visitor to that address sees that seller's items and nothing else.

There is deliberately no site-wide browse or search. We do not aggregate sellers, rank them, or show one seller's items alongside another's. Individual seller and listing pages can be found by search engines, and that plus the seller's own link is the entire discovery story.

Talking to a seller

When a buyer and a seller talk here, the conversation travels directly between their two browsers. It does not pass through us and we do not store it. Nobody at If There's Anything That You Want can read, retrieve, or produce the contents of a conversation, because no copy of it exists on our side. See our Privacy Policy for what that means in practice.

What we charge for

We bill sellers for listing capacity only. Every account gets one active listing free and permanently, with no payment method on file. Sellers who want more active listings at once pay for the additional slots.

We are never part of the transaction between a buyer and a seller. We do not process payments for goods, hold funds in escrow, pay sellers out, or take a commission on anything that is sold. How a buyer pays a seller is entirely between the two of them.
