Please read this before you list something, answer a listing, or meet anyone.

We do not review, monitor, moderate, verify, endorse, or approve listings, sellers, buyers, or anything said in a conversation. Listings appear as their sellers write them. We do not check that an item exists, that it is described accurately, that its price is fair, that the seller owns it, or that selling it is lawful.

We do not record direct conversations. Messages between a buyer and a seller travel directly between their browsers. We hold no copy, no transcript, and no archive. We cannot retrieve a conversation for you, for the other participant, or for anyone else, and we cannot use one to resolve a dispute between you.

We are not a party to any transaction. Every dealing between a buyer and a seller -- including payment, delivery, inspection, returns, and any dispute -- is strictly between those two people. We provide no escrow, no payment processing for goods, no guarantee of any kind, and no recourse if a transaction goes badly.

If something illegal or prohibited is posted, it is the poster's doing, not ours. We may remove content and suspend accounts when we become aware of a problem, but becoming aware depends on someone telling us. Please report anything that does not belong here using the contact page.

Meeting strangers carries risk. Take the ordinary precautions: meet in public where you can, bring someone with you, and do not send money to someone you have not verified.

If you see a listing that is illegal, dangerous, or does not belong here, tell us from the contact page. We act on what we are told; we do not find it on our own.
